Enthusiast mode

A personal aromatherapy journal for home users

Essential oils change as they age, and the same bottle can feel different on different days. Enthusiast mode lets you record what you own, what you used, and how it felt at the time.

A simple everyday loop

You can start anywhere. Build the shelf first, or write a journal entry straight away and attach the blend and dosage afterwards.

Enthusiast mode daily loop diagram linking four modules: the oil shelf, daily rituals, the scent journal and the personal aromatherapy profile.
The oil shelf, daily rituals, the journal and your profile all connect.

The oil shelf: know what you actually have

Record brand, origin, volume, purchase date and opening date. The shelf shows how long each bottle has been open, which makes it easier to review the collection periodically.

  • Brand, origin and volume
  • Purchase date and opening date
  • Usage tracking and low-stock reminders
  • Personal notes, such as how a bottle actually smells to you

Daily aromatherapy rituals

Give diffusion, inhalation or a carrier-oil blend a fixed slot in the day, such as after work or before bed. Ritual cards let you repeat one flow and adjust it when you want to.

A ritual is a personal routine, not a treatment plan, and no outcome is promised.

Scent journal and scent memory

The journal takes text or voice, and can hold the day's mood alongside the blend and dosage you used. Read together, those entries become a record of your scent memory and how your preferences shifted.

Journal entries belong to you by default, with an encryption option for the more private ones.

Diffuser timer

Set a diffusion session and the timer reminds you when it ends. During longer sessions, keep the room ventilated — especially if there are pets or young children at home.

Safety flags are never hidden

Enthusiast mode runs the same rule set: dilution ceilings, photosensitivity, pet cautions, and the restrictions that apply to young children and pregnancy. When a combination carries a caution, the interface says so.

Safety flags are a checking aid, not a substitute for professional judgement. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, living with a chronic condition or taking medication, speak to a doctor or a registered healthcare professional first.

SI to get you started

When you do not want to start from nothing, you can ask SI (artificial intelligence AI) for a few directions based on your shelf and your preferences. SI only selects from oils you have already recorded, and attaches the relevant cautions.

Its suggestions are drafts. Change the ratios, swap an oil, or ignore them.

Suggestions drafted by SI (artificial intelligence AI) are for reference only and are not professional medical advice.

Enthusiast plans

There are three tiers. The free plan records 10 shelf items and 10 journal entries; Plus removes the ceilings; Family adds up to 5 household member profiles.

Try the shelf tracker:Runs in the browser, no account.

Try the blend generator:Build a ratio by mood.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know how to blend oils first?

No. Enthusiast mode is built around record-keeping, so the shelf and the journal work on their own. Bring in blending and the safety flags when you want to experiment.

Does it work offline?

The app keeps your most recent records on the device and syncs to your account when a connection returns. Demo accounts run entirely on the device.

Does enthusiast mode give therapeutic advice?

No. It provides records, reminders and safety flags. It does not claim that any essential oil treats, cures or prevents a condition.

Can I share a blend with a friend?

Yes. Ritual cards and scent cards can be shared, and you choose exactly what is included before sending. Sharing can be revoked at any time.
